The Infamous Talking Motor Mount

This is the Driver's side Motor Mount from a '92 Stealth R/T TT with 105,000mi on the clock. It's supposed to be a single piece rubber pressed into the mount with the metal "tube" running through the middle. The rubber in the mount is supposed to hold the metal "tube" securely within the mount so that the engine doesn't wander around the engine bay too much.

Is your motor mount talking to you?

Video shot by James Mutton, voices by unknown motor mount. Encoded with Windows Media Video V7 and Windows Media Audio V8 Codecs. See www.microsloth.com for these if you don't have them

A good buddy of mine put it well: "Unauthorized duplication, while sometimes necessary, is never as good as the real thing. And it could be bad for the pixels." As I've put a lot of time and effort into creating this webpage and website, I would prefer that you not redistribute, sell, or claim as yours any of the content of this site. I know I can't stop you if that's what you're going to do, but I'm asking nicely. If you would like to publish some of the content of this site in your own work (printed, electronic, or otherwise), please e-mail me and we can work something out.
